Staff

Our amazing staff includes highly qualified, degreed teachers. Our teachers have at least a bachelor's degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, or have equivalent education and experience deemed acceptable by the Trinity Preschool Board.  Our teaching assistants all have experience with early childhood programming.  Trinity is proud to boast that their staff to student ratios are one of the best in the area.  We max out our classes at 12 students and all classes have 2 staff (1 teacher, 1 teacher assistant). Staff attend professional conferences and workshops, are CPR/First Aid trained, and have undergone fingerprinting/background checks. There are also AMAT trained staff in the building in order to care for students who may need emergency medications.

Sue Miller 4-year-old class teacher(1).jpg

Teacher, 4s

Sue Miller

Mrs. Miller is a very dedicated and fun teacher.  She prioritizes nurturing student relationships because she understands that learning can only take place once trust and care are established.  Her fun-loving nature shines in the classroom through the hands-on activities and experiences she plans.  Her literacy and fine motor groups are multi-modal and prepare her students for kindergarten. Mrs. Miller does an incredible job individualizing her lessons for her students so she can meet them where they are at and challenge them to try new things. Her experience is vast as she has worked in many different educational settings, including working with DOD schools and in administration.  She has been with Trinity preschool for over 10 years.

Teacher Assistant, 3s

Chrissy Vacca

Ms. Chrissy came to us with eight years of Early Childhood School experience. Ms. Chrissy has been pursuing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development.  She has recently taken a break from her studies to care for her two children, however, she plans to resume her education at a later date. Ms. Chrissy gets to relish the experience of teaching at the preschool as well as being a preschool parent, since both children have attended the school. In her free time, she enjoys attending community events, reading, volunteering, traveling and spending time with her family.

Theangela Hinkle

Mrs. Hinkle is in her 3rd year at Trinity and has past work experience with childcare and preschool students. Mrs. Hinkle was a stay at home mom for many years and when returning to work she realized how much she enjoys working with children especially the pre-k age. She commented that they are sweet and funny and she enjoys getting to know each child personally.

Mrs. Hinkle likes spending time with her family, reading, refurbishing furniture, working on mixed media art projects, and exercising (sometimes).

Art

Denise LaSalle

Denise LaSalle is so excited to be teaching Art at Trinity Preschool!  She has been teaching art since 2018, but was a kindergarten teacher prior to teaching solely art.  Denise volunteers as a docent at the Chrysler Museum of Art and loves introducing children to art and the museum.  She loves that there are no “wrong” answers when looking at art and inspiring children to be creative!  In her class, students will learn about artists and their artwork for inspiration, look at the elements of art, and let creativity run free with process art!  Denise and her husband have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She recently adopted a sweet dog – Rosie!
