staff

Our amazing staff includes highly qualified, degreed teachers. Our teachers have at least a bachelor's degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, or have equivalent education and experience deemed acceptable by the Trinity Preschool Board.  Our teaching assistants all have experience with early childhood programming.  Trinity is proud to boast that their staff to student ratios are one of the best in the area.  We max out our classes at 12 students and all classes have 2 staff (1 teacher, 1 teacher assistant). Staff attend professional conferences and workshops, are CPR/First Aid trained, and have undergone fingerprinting/background checks. There are also AMAT trained staff in the building in order to care for students who may need emergency medications.

Teacher, 4-year-olds

Hillary Levering

Mrs. Levering brings over 10 years of teaching experience to our 4-Year-Old classroom.  She use to work right down the street at King's Grant Elementary and is very familiar with kindergarten expectation. Mrs. Levering is a firm believer in Christ and takes a very compassionate and play-based approach to learning. Some of Hillary’s thoughts:

“I feel so blessed and excited to work at Trinity. I look forward to working with the 4-year-olds and I am already thinking of some engaging and creative lessons for next year.  I take a very hands-on approach when designing lessons for students to ensure true mastery and understanding of the skill. I cannot wait to create lasting relationships with your children and you as it is my belief that we must work as a community to help students be successful academically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically."

assistant teacher

Ms. Chrissy has been pursuing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development.  She has recently taken a break from her studies to care for her two children, however, she plans to resume her education at a later date. Ms. Chrissy gets to relish the experience of teaching at the preschool as well as being a preschool parent, since both children have attended the school. Mrs. Hinkle likes spending time with her family, reading, refurbishing furniture, working on mixed media art projects, and exercising (sometimes).

art

Denise LaSalle

Denise LaSalle is so excited to be teaching Art at Trinity Preschool!  She has been teaching art since 2018, but was a kindergarten teacher prior to teaching solely art.  Denise volunteers as a docent at the Chrysler Museum of Art and loves introducing children to art and the museum.  She loves that there are no “wrong” answers when looking at art and inspiring children to be creative!  In her class, students will learn about artists and their artwork for inspiration, look at the elements of art, and let creativity run free with process art!  Denise and her husband have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She recently adopted a sweet dog – Rosie!
