Our amazing staff includes highly qualified, degreed teachers. Our teachers have a bachelor's degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, or have equivalent education and experience deemed acceptable by School Board.  All teachers attend professional conferences and workshops, are CPR/First Aid/EMAT trained, and have undergone fingerprinting background checks.


Marion Mitchell

Mrs. Mitchell has been the Preschool Director since 2000. She says that the most rewarding part of her job is meeting new families and sharing all the wonderful programs that Trinity Preschool has to offer. Mrs. Mitchell has her undergraduate degree in Home Economics, with a Business Concentration, from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.


She was an active member of Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church since 1974 and now is enjoying worshipping at King’s Grant Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Mitchell has also resided in the Little Neck Community since 1997. Her son, daughter-in-law, and daughter attended the preschool when it was located in Thalia. Mrs. Mitchell hopes anyone associated with the school will have the knowledge of its rich history and get excited about the wonderful future of Trinity Preschool! In her spare time, she enjoys, paddling boarding, kayaking and collecting sea glass.

Whitney Doudera

Mrs. Doudera is a native of Virginia Beach. She has a BA in Dance Performance from Shenandoah University.  Mrs. Doudera worked at Cox High School as an Education Assistant while still teaching dance at night. Mrs. Doudera has been with Trinity Preschool since 2018 as the "Get Fit" teacher and as an Assistant in the 4-year class since 2019. She also teaches Art for King's Academy of Fine Arts and dance for Music and Motion. Mrs. Doudera is the Youth Leader at Thalia United Methodist Church and is on the Women's Leadership Team at Spring Branch Community Church.

Mrs. Doudera's passion is teaching but she loves to sing, travel and spend time with friends and family,

Christy Vacca

Ms. Chrissy came to us with eight years of Early Childhood School experience. Ms. Chrissy has been enrolled at Tidewater Community College pursuing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development.  She has recently taken a break from her studies to care for her two children, however, she plans to resume her education at a later date. Ms. Chrissy gets to relish the experience of teaching at the preschool as well as being a preschool parent, since both children have attended the school. In her free time, she enjoys attending community events, reading, volunteering, traveling and spending time with her family.

Sue Miller

In 2009, Mrs. Miller joined our staff and brought fresh new ideas to our program.  Mrs. Miller received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University, and a Master's Degree in Public School Administration from Old Dominion University. She came to us with four years of experience as a second grade teacher, plus one year as an assistant principal.


Mrs. Miller is the mother of three boys and her youngest son Johnny attended our program.  She greatly enjoys her time in the preschool classroom as well as spending time with her family.

Miriam Callahan

Mrs. Callahan has been affiliated with this preschool since 1981. She had the privilege of being the three-year-old teacher for 30 years.  After retiring in 2011, she has continued to share her love for children and the preschool as a substitute teacher and Chapel leader.  She has been blessed with the opportunity to have been a part of so many children’s educational lives and honored to share with them the love of Jesus. 


Mrs. Callahan has been a member of Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church since 1977 and now enjoys worshipping at King’s Grant Presbyterian Church. She also enjoys being with family and friends, boating and fishing, and exploring her creativity in many different crafts.

Donna Wilhoit

Mrs. W has been teaching with the preschool since 2011. She graduated from Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) with a degree in Elementary Education and has had experience teaching children since 1983. Mrs. W was a former teacher for the Virginia Beach City Schools and currently works as a substitute teacher for both the public schools and for our preschool. She was an active member of Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church, since she was 13 years old and now she enjoys worshiping and singing in the choir at King’s Grant Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. W is proud to say her two children attended preschool here and she is thrilled to teach new students the love of music and singing! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to see her children and grandchild and going to the beach.

Cathy Graham

Mrs. Graham has worked in the preschool setting for many years. Prior to coming to Trinity Preschool, she was a Three-year-old teacher at another Christian preschool for four years. She is also the Director of Discipleship for Youth and Children at Thalia United Methodist Church.  


Mrs. Graham has resided in the King’s Grant community since 1998. She attended the University of Maine where she majored in both French and History. Mrs. Graham is delighted to be working at Trinity Preschool and in her spare time she loves to travel.

Theangela Hinkle

Mrs. Hinkle is new to Trinity this year and she comes to us with past childcare and preschool experience. Mrs. Hinkle was a stay at home mom for many years and when returning to work she realized how much she enjoys working with children especially the pre-k age. She commented that they are sweet and funny and she enjoys getting to know each child personally.

Mrs. Hinkle likes spending time with her family, reading, refurbishing furniture, working on mixed media art projects, and exercising (sometimes).

Tammy Windham

Mrs. Windham attended Virginia Wesleyan College where she majored in elementary education until she decided to start a family.  She has worked as a teacher at Parish Day School's summer program Camp Turtle Trap and was head of Christian Education and the Youth Group programs at Bow Creek Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Windham has been with the preschool since 2016 and says it feels like family. She is a well-rounded employee, since she has had the experience of working in the Three-year and Four-year class. 


In her spare time, Mrs. Windham enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
