Trinity Preschool, formerly known as Thalia Trinity Early Childhood School, was established in 1976.  The school has been serving children and their families in many communities of Virginia Beach for more than 40 years. Generations of families have attended our school over those years.

There was much excitement on August 15, 1976, when a single 4-year-old morning class was established. The preschool quickly became a thriving ministry of Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church, and within two years, a 3-year-old morning class was added. Shortly thereafter, an afternoon class was added for both age groups. The school’s goal, from its beginning, has been to nurture and develop the “whole child” and offer a quality education with a balance of Christian, social and academic instruction in an environment of love and friendship.

With the closing of Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church, the legacy and goals of the preschool have continued with its relocation to King’s Grant Presbyterian Church. The school functions under the direction of a Board of Directors and the Session of King’s Grant Presbyterian Church. God has blessed it abundantly and hundreds of children have thrived and been nurtured in a warm and friendly environment.

Trinity Preschool looks forward to fostering future generations of compassionate citizens and joyful lifelong learners.

Trinity is a wonderful school for your child to learn and prepare for Kindergarten. The teachers challenge the students while also nurturing them. Because it is a small school, the students receive a great amount of one on one attention. The teachers are some of the best in Hampton Roads! They have so many creative ideas for teaching, they amaze me daily. My son begs to go to school each day which speaks volumes. The music program is lead by Mrs. Wilhoit who has many years experience. She makes it fun for the kids and they love her. Chapel is also on the weekly schedule and I personally find it so important that the children are able to learn about Jesus. They come away with so many valuable lessons and it’s important to instill those lessons in our children at a young age. Trinity preschool is doing this and is succeeding with flying colors. I would recommend Trinity Preschool to anyone who loves personal attention, with a caring faculty, with attention to detail, not to mention at a very reasonable price! 5 Stars!!!!
